Description: T1 Cypress, cut to ground, tree is in decline and shows heavy dieback in crown, cause unknown but most likely exacerbated by drought last summer. T2 Cypress, cut to ground, tree has weak union at 1.5m and heavy crown bias over neighbouring property on Bawnmore Court excessively shading-out the rear garden. Tree is also in an early stage of decline and shows dieback spreading through crown on South side. Dead section in stem on West side, from base at 0.5m width, to a height of 10m on dominant stem losing bark on this section. This tree does not seem worthy of a protection order given its health and structure and the fact it obscures the view of the Pine, (T3) to the North which despite a pronounced lean is a greater source of tree amenity in this area. Reason for dieback is unclear though again prolonged dry weather over the summer may have contributed to its current condition. T3 Pine, prune back branch tips by 4m to growth points on East side of crown leaving 5.5m branch length for the first four lower main branches on the East side. This work to lessen impact of this tree on neighbouring properties on Bawnmore court will also reduce weight on the tree's lean bias side.
